Course Description and objectives:
The primary objective of the course is to shed lights on the correlations between language use and social structure. Its focus isdifferent from other courses that take an interest in language rather than the people who use the language. Many issues related to sociology in relations to linguistics will be explained and discussed in detail as we shall see in the following section.
Course Plan:
Students are required to actively participate in class discussions and activities and creative in their ideas and persuasive in their arguments.
